Friends House are able to offer a range of equipment for hire in addition to the OHP, screen, data projectors and flipcharts that come as part of the day delegate package. We can supply the following, subject to availability. All charges are subject to VAT at current rates.

Hearing loops
The Large Meeting House, Small Meeting House, Room 7, 8 & 9, Room 1 and Room 19 have built in hearing loops. We also have a portable hearing loop system available free of charge that can be used in any of the remaining rooms.
Sound system and microphones
We have a system of stage and radio microphones available for use in both the Large & Small Meeting Halls, and room 7, 8 & 9. It is a legal requirement for Friends House to have our radio microphone frequencies licensed by OFCOM. Therefore if you wish to use the radio microphones during your meeting in either the Large & Small Meeting Halls, you will need to complete the following form Permit to use UHF radio microphones [Word: 42kb - new window] and return it electronically to us at events@quaker.org.uk. You will also need to retain a copy for your own records. Subject to availability, we can supply a sound engineer to set up the equipment and to be present during your meeting. The charge will be from £35.00 per hour. This applies to the Large & Small Meeting Halls only.
