Large Meeting Hall
Our elegant main hall was designed for the annual gathering of Quakers in Britain, and has been used in the past by such distinguished guests as Mahatma Gandhi and Bertrand Russell. Beautifully refurbished to preserve its 1920s character, the hall boasts modern AV appointments and a 1,100 capacity, making it a truly unique venue for lectures, religious services and prestigious events.
The Large Meeting Hall is arranged over two floors: hiring the first-floor galleries doubles the capacity of the hall. The central seating on the ground floor can be removed to offer a large space for performances, rehearsals or cabaret-style seating.
