A message from the team

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected the whole world and shifted our habits. It deeply impacted the very concepts of meeting and togetherness. As social distancing became the norm, we all discovered new rules for shopping, exercising, walking, etc. And it is only since lockdown has eased that we can slowly start to meet up again with our families and friends, while respecting a set of rules. This is "the new normal" and businesses will also have to adapt to it.

Meetings, getting people together in one space, is at the heart of what we do. Adapting to COVID-19 restrictions and “the new normal” has been and will be a real challenge for us. This is why we have carefully thought about how to safely deliver events in our venue. We are confident that the new rules in place will ensure the safety and well-being of our customers and staff.

We reviewed our cleaning, hygiene, catering, and customer service practices. We worked on solutions to bring the best event experience while ensuring everyone’s safety. We reorganised both our public spaces and meeting rooms with social distancing in mind. We produced new COVID-19 guidelines for induction and training. Last but not least, we integrated sustainable and eco-friendly solutions into our new protocols. With us, events still won’t cost the earth.

We have detailed in our COVID-19 resource centre, the new measures, rules, and guidelines operating at Friends House. You can find them listed above.

If you have booked with us before, we hope that you feel reassured that you will meet safely and sustainably. If you have never booked with us before, we hope that you will want to discover our safe, affordable, and sustainable venue. This is a new journey for all of us and we are looking forward to welcoming you again.

Let’s “meet together, apart”.
