It’s no secret that the right event venue lets your company shine. Several Quaker (external link) meeting houses across the country have been adapted to host company events. These ethically run buildings have years of hospitality and event services and have several awards between them.
Here is a list of five such venues nationwide that have been adapted for conferences and events. Although every venue has its own distinct style, all of them are friendly and highly professional. Each site also follows environmentally-friendly guidelines in line with Quaker values, so you know your event is leaving an impact on your delegates, not on the environment.
Friends House is opposite Euston station and boasts excellent transport links. It is home to 32 meeting and event spaces, including The Light auditorium.
When booking for an event at Friends House, you can save money when you select one of the available Day Delegate Packages. Every package includes catering, audio-visual equipment and room hire. There are also discounts available at local hotels for delegates visiting from outside of London.
Find out which options would suit your event best by asking our Events Team. Telephone 0207 663 1100 or fill out an online enquiry form.
Formerly known as the Large Meeting House, The Light is the largest conference space in Euston. It can seat up to 1000 delegates and can be set up in four customisable layouts. It has been used for everything from book launches to graduations and even fashion shows.
The Light also boasts its own private reception area, a dedicated AV Team and features a stunning skylight which floods the 200m2 space with natural light. Delegates can also enjoy sustainable catering when attending events in The Light. Fairtrade tea and coffee is available throughout the day, and you can choose between finger or hot fork buffets for lunch.
