Aiming higher: AIM Higher Silver accreditation process

Friends House has just taken a step higher in the MICE industry by becoming an AIM Higher Silver accredited (external link) venue. The AIM Higher Silver accreditation is one of the highest levels of accreditation given by the Meetings Industry Association (MIA) (external link) to event and conference venues. It is an assurance of excellence for customers and event buyers. To be accredited, our venue went through a rigorous assessment process, focusing on:

  • Business Planning
  • Resources
  • Researching & monitoring customer needs
  • Creating the customer environment
  • Booking information & procedures
  • Pricing & payment procedures
  • Service delivery
  • Customer service staff
  • Business recovery
  • Continuous improvement

All our team was involved in demonstrating our level of compliance with the highest meetings and events industry standards and with our promise: With us, events don’t cost the earth.

AIM Higher Silver accreditation: an industry recognition

The AIM Higher Silver accreditation comes as a recognition of all the efforts and collaborative working that went into making Friends House what it is today. Our successive and successful refurbishments mean that we now have 32 high standard and versatile event spaces. Combined with our ethical procurement, this ensures that events are of high quality and as ethical and sustainable as can be. As Paul Grey, CEO of Friends House (London) Hospitality Ltd, explained to Conference News (external link)we have chosen the path of sustainable events and this has borne fruit for our customers, community, suppliers and staff. We are glad that this has been recognised by the MIA with an AIM Higher Silver accreditation.
