Friends House garden did well at the Camden in Bloom 2016 Awards!

Last week, the Friends House Hospitality team went to Camden Old Town Hall to attend the Camden in Bloom 2016 Awards. And guess what? We came 2nd in the Best Business Garden category!

It is an accomplishment for our team and the recognition of all the work and care that went into Friends House garden. Following a complete re-landscape this year, lawns, trees, flowers, benches and a Quaker timeline path were added. Camden Council recognised the efforts that we put in making our garden a green oasis in the city, for London and the Camden community.
Friends House garden
Hundreds of people, if not thousands, pass by our garden every day, walking along the Quaker timeline path, which leads them from Euston Road to Endsleigh Gardens. Many of them also enjoy our garden throughout the day, having lunch or a coffee break on our Quaker Centre Café and Restaurant terraces or at our coffee cart.

The garden is also a great addition to the meeting and events experience at the Friends House venue. Many delegates enjoy our green oasis during conference breaks or during lunch. If you would like to know more about our meeting rooms, contact our Sales and Events Team on 020 7663 1100 or events@quaker.org.uk.
