You can book one of our meeting rooms in the confidence that it will be safe, clean, welcoming, and comfortable for your delegates.
Our meeting rooms are at the heart of what we do. We have given some special attention to our event spaces, to make sure they are safe, welcoming, and comfortable for your meetings. We have divided this page into several sections to make it easier for you to see the measures we have in place.
During your meeting
- All delegates will need to wear face covering inside the meeting rooms, except when eating or drinking.
- People who are exempt from wearing face covering, such as because of an underlying health condition, do not need to wear face covering in the meeting rooms. Organisers will need to let the Events team know prior to their event if someone is exempt.
- To reduce contacts, customers will be encouraged to leave doors open, if this does not cause a disturbance.
Breaks and refreshments
There will be regular room refreshing by our in-house team, scheduled around programme breaks. This will include topping up supplies and cleaning high touchpoint areas. Staff will wear PPE for selected tasks.
Break out rooms
If your event requires the addition of break out rooms or several meeting rooms, those will be located as close as possible to the main room, to limit movements inside the venue. To allocate rooms, we will take into account: delegate numbers, social distancing, along with room capacities and layouts.
Meeting rooms cleaning
We will seal the meeting rooms after set up and cleaning, giving you the reassurance that your event space has not been accessed since it was last cleaned. Rooms will also be deep cleaned and sanitised at the end of each day.
What are they really?
These types of events/meetings incorporate in-person and virtual participation simultaneously. It takes place at a physical venue but has a live and interactive audience online – this could be in the room next door or half across the world if not all attendees are allowed or able to gather.
This will enable you to deliver your message while engaging with virtual participants, allowing to interact with speakers, participate in Q&A sessions, and network with fellow attendees. The best hybrid events utilise technology to allow this to happen.
Options already in place at FH
Wi-Fi is included across our venue as a standard and popular video conference tools such as Zoom, Skype or Teams can be set up easily. Our rooms are fitted with LCD projectors/screens and PA systems which can be utilised. We would recommend that at least the speaker would need a microphone (which can be added at a cost).
Add on alternatives
As with all events at our venue, we can organise bespoke solutions for you working closely with our suppliers. Additional costs will apply. The audio-visual department is happy to consult on specific event requirements to ensure the technical aspects of meetings are tailored to the client’s needs.
