Public areas

We know public areas can be a source of concern for people at the moment. This is why we have implemented strict guidelines and prepared clear signage in the venue.

We have rearranged our public areas with social distancing in mind. Prior to their event, organisers will receive our new layout by email so that delegates can easily find their way in the venue.

Once in Friends House, delegates will be provided with a copy of our COVID-19 statement, which will require them to take responsibility for keeping themselves and others safe. As of Thursday 24 September, delegates will need to wear face covering in public areas and in the meeting rooms, except when eating or drinking.

Clear signage will be displayed throughout the building to direct and help manage the flow of visitors. We will also use rope barriers and introduce a one-way system, where possible. This will ensure that social distancing guidelines are adhered to.

Hand sanitiser will be readily available in high traffic areas and these areas will be subject to a rigorous cleaning schedule.
