Quaker Centre Bookshop

Our bookshop stocks a wide range of books on Quakerism, ethical living, activism, world religions, peace, sustainability and other related topics, including a sizeable children’s section.

The books we feature include topical subjects, new releases and other titles we think deserve to stand out.

In our Children’s Books of the month, we highlight a selection of our favourite children’s books that adhere to Quaker values.

Featured Books of the Month are available to buy from the bookshop in-store and online, and you can sign up to our mailing list:

Seed Café

Our vegetarian and vegan menu

Our café serves a selection of delicious vegetarian and vegan food and drinks, with gluten-free options available. Cakes, pastries, salads, sandwiches, snacks, ethical sodas and juices are all available for you to take-away or eat in our bright and cosy space. At lunch time, try our specials of the day prepared by our on-site chef, including our soup of the day, always vegan and gluten-free.

Ethical and local sourcing in the Quaker Centre

We carefully select our suppliers and work with local and ethical suppliers, Nemi teas and Redemption Roasters coffee, for our hot drinks.

We stock a range of items produced by social enterprises which help support communities both locally and internationally, such as Zaytoun Palestinian products.

An independent café in Euston

Our convenient location opposite Euston Station makes us an ideal choice if you’re travelling, meeting friends or attending an event in Friends House.

It is always a delight to find this lovely, tranquil and friendly centre in the bustle of central London.

After reading other reviews on here I suggested my mum and I meet a friend here for a light lunch and it did not disappoint! We had scones, ice-cream, smoothies and cakes. My mum is disabled so the accessibility of this place really helped, and the staff were lovely. Excellent choice of foods, great value for money, and I loved how committed they are to zero waste.

We always pop to the Quaker House cafe when we go to Euston to catch a train, so much nicer than what Euston station has to offer and is a little tranquility in an otherwise very busy environment.
