Our annual Staff Conference took place last month. It’s no secret that the right event venue lets your company shine. Several Quaker meeting houses across the country have been adapted to host company events. These ethically run buildings have years of hospitality and event services and have several awards between them.

The Bake the Difference programme at Friends House is now in its second month.  The programme participants have already made significant progress.

Since the programme started in September, participants have been studying hard and learning new skills. Baked goods produced on the course are regularly sold in the Café and Restaurant at Friends House. Some round cakes have also been served for event catering. But the biggest steps have been in personal development.

Friends House has been working with the London Pathways Partnership (LPP) to launch our Bake the Difference programme. The programme helps provide training and support to people who have a diagnosis of personality disorder and a history of offending or antisocial behaviour. It aims to help the people on the programme integrate into society.
