We hope that you and your loved ones are healthy and safe at this time.

Over the past few weeks, the board of directors and I have been focused on looking after our people and considering best how we can protect our teams jobs during this unprecedented situation. 

After much reflection, we have taken the decision to access the Government's Coronavirus job retention scheme and will be furloughing almost all of our team both at Friends House and Swarthmoor hall, where the majority of staff are unable to undertake their customer facing roles at this time.

We value your support as customers, so we want to ensure that we are doing what we can to help you in these unprecedented times. We want help relieve some of the concerns you may have about cancelling events you have booked with us, so we will treat all confirmed bookings up to and including 31 July as cancelled.
